Bear Creek Trail — Part 2

Here is the second half of a ride I took down the Bear Creek Trail back in February 2026. For the first music track of this video I searched around for something that matched the wasteland vibe I felt when riding past all of this crusty-ass brown grass and all these sad looking trees. This cheesy industrial goth track seemed to match the mood.

Notwithstanding the dumpster fire weather you see here, I have to give credit where credit is due with respect to the improvements that have been made to this path over the years. Since 2016 the City of Lakewood has put to good use some $3.8 million in proceeds from federal funds and Colorado Lottery tickets, as can be seen by these nice bridges and underpasses.
